When Factions came out everyone it seemed complained. ANet did not listen having at that time a vision of contentious, combative players. As it turned out what they got was frustrated complaining players. But did they revise their own thinking? No, that was too much like work. Good point to keep in mind about GW 2. What you see release day is what you will get: the good, the bad, the ugly.
The faction dependence in Factions goes under the ugly category. |

Hah, last I bothered checking, Kurz spent a few months with the line deep in their territory, and every AB match was played on a Kurzick map. I'm not sorry that the line has shifted.
Frankly, considering the state of AB, I think they should just link the line to a timer and be done with it. |

I would be interested in knowing how many people play (actively) on either side. Because I get the feeling that more people play Kurz. As fickle as it may sound, I believe the Kurz are perceived as "cooler" than the Lux.
Juggernaut = cool Turtle = meh...not so much I've been Lux since day one, but have always gotten the notion that they are kinda gay. |
